Whitsunday Budget Sailing ►

The budget side of sailing in the Whitsundays doesn't differ from the top end cruises in where you go or what you see, all boats go to similar places. The budget boats cater for the 18 to 25 year olds who are travelling on a tight budget, They don’t have the same high quality food, but there’s plenty of it, there are more people on the boat and the boats aren't so comfortable. It’s a similar difference between staying in a cheap motel to staying in a nice hotel. That said, you still get to see Whitehaven Beach, you get to snorkel the same coral reefs and you get to sail around the Whitsundays with a bunch of great people

Here we have a collection of “classic sail boats”, these boats are generally your older style boats with great styling and plenty of wooden features giving you the feeling of a bygone era while still offering plenty of comfort. With the exception of Ron of Argyll, all of these boats offer private twin and/or double cabins, some with en-suite facilities, with private cabins

there are generally only a couple on each boat, so if you are looking for privacy and a place to get some space while on your Whitsundays sailing adventure,

we recommend booking as early as possible

you the time of your lives. You are encouraged to lend a hand with cranking the winches to hoist the main sail as timing is everything on these muscle boats. These yachts are now retired, having competed in a plethora of races around the world, some still compete in the local races and show visiting maxi’s how it should be done. Now fitted out for charter work here in the Whitsundays, sleeping is in open plan shared areas, some maxi’s have SCUBA dive options.
